I wonder about relationships and interactions.
What can the evolutionary advantage be of dealing with untruths and half-truths and coming off as someone you aren't? Wouldn't it be better to be up front and honest and actually right for whoever you are trying to lure rather than just a facade of someone you're not? At least in the long run, you actually have a chance of staying with that person and providing a stable home for your offspring. Whereas if you pretend to be someone else and then succeed in attracting the more desirable person, you'll end up unhappy and at odds with your personal ideals. Not good.
